I can’t sit still for videos. It doesn’t matter what it is. I don’t have an attention span for the video medium. I choose to read the State of the Union instead of watch it live and I’m known for falling asleep during the most action packed movies. While I love my tv shows I still do other things while watching–cook, eat dinner, laundry. It takes a lot for something to truly catch my attention.
Yet something about VEDA intrigues me. The participants are video blogging every day for the month of August. From the looks of it most of them are not regular video bloggers. That’s what makes it so interesting. I admit, I’m still not able to sit still for all of the videos but I appreciate the honesty of it all. It makes me want to do a video.
So, here I am, getting ready to show you my first video. I’m keeping it short.
I have to start somewhere, folks.

You are so photogenic (or would it be, “videogenic?”)! And, I love the yellow that you picked for the walls; it’s such a pretty color! xoxo

Nice job on the VEDA blog! I know video can be tough, good for you to put yourself out there. Can’t wait to see more.
